"We LOVED working with Stephanie for our maternity shoot! We were coming to VT from out of town and were traveling in late fall during COVID, so we were worried about scheduling. Stephanie was able to hold 3 different days over one weekend for us in case of travel or weather issues. She provided me with recommendations for hair and makeup and even travel tips that weren't obvious from Google Maps :) Before the shoot, Stephanie traveled to where we were staying to scope out shooting locations and found the perfect spots. On the day of the shoot itself, Stephanie knew exactly where to go and when to get the good shots. She was extremely accommodating and even went to one extra location that my husband and I had found earlier in the day. The final photos were gorgeous and Stephanie made us a beautiful book that we will cherish forever. I highly recommend working with Stephanie and would love the opportunity to do so again!"

From a holiday shoot last fall with our 3-year-old, to pregnancy and newborn sessions this spring, Lincoln Gap Photography has helped us capture hundreds of precious moments. Stephanie is also a mother, which makes her a little extra magic in working with families. She deeply respects the sacredness (and messiness) of the newborn time. She’s gentle and tender with babies and new moms. She eliminates all the could be stress of a photo shoot by helping you decide what to wear (making a postpartum mom feel beautiful), she organizes and sets up the space (mountains of laundry don’t phase her) and puts everyone at ease with her fun style (yes, even getting a busy toddler to cooperate). We’ve used our photos as both cards and gifts that our family members adore. What I love most about Stephanie’s photos is that above all else, she always gets “the shot”, the one of you and your family candidly laughing, spontaneously tickling, jumping or kissing and joyfully gazing at each other. As a busy mom I am beyond grateful to have such sweet photos of my second baby (I never took any), to have pictures WITH me in it (moms are usually the ones behind the lens) and to have these fleeting, real life moments of our family preserved with such emotion and beauty."

"We had a great experience having our first family photo shoot with Stephanie of Lincoln Gap Photography, complete with 6 and 4-year-old shenanigans. I was nervous going in since you just never know what you're going to get with small kids, but Stephanie made it easy. We played at the river for an hour, and came away with some beautiful images of the autumn scenery and of our family! Stephanie offers support through the entire process, from picking outfits to choosing location and activity during the shoot.
